Museum Opens Feb 1

We open the 2022 season with a special traveling exhibition.

COVID - 19 Masking Update

Sheboygan County Health and Human Services, following the suggestions of the CDC, is requiring masks to be worn in all of their owned and leased facilities due to the increase in Delta variant cases. As the museum is leased from the County we are requiring masks be worn in all the buildings on the museum campus. We appreciate your continued understanding and support as we continue to navigate the pandemic. Thank you.

Volunteer Spotlight

Linda and Jerry Smith – January 2022 Volunteer Spotlight

After Jerry retired from Kohler Co. in 2016, the Smiths spent a few years restructuring their lives. Now they spend most of their days volunteering together. Recently at the Museum, they have helped with full-day education programming, setup and takedown of Holiday Memories, events, administration, and children’s activities. Asked why they volunteer, Linda answers simply, “I like to help people.”

Check Out Our Latest Blog!

We are kicking off a new monthly blog at the Museum for 2022! Collection Connections will bring you behind the scenes into some of the important, fascinating and occasionally frustrating work that keeps the collection, exhibitions, and more moving forward at the Museum. Our first feature is from one of our Summer 2021 Interns – David Rush. Watch for additional blogs from our other Summer 2021 Interns Nick Eggert and Roman Lulloff in the months to come.
