Custodian
FLEXIBLE HOURS & AWESOME TEAM!

Join the team at the Sheboygan County Museum. Our small and mighty organization is hiring a Part-Time Custodian. The person in this role will clean the main museum and the historic buildings on the museum campus. This includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, emptying garbage, and restocking supplies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess an attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision. This is a valuable position for the museum and the ideal candidate will desire to join a special team preserving and sharing the history of Sheboygan County.

Schedule: Flexible weekly schedule, 12 hours a week
Compensation: $11.79 per hour with no additional benefits

Internships

Lantern Parade Programs Intern

The Lantern Parade Programs Intern will work closely with the Museum’s Program Coordinator to develop programming plans for the lantern-making and the lantern parade, enthusiastically facilitate programs with children and families, and track program information. Programs take place in formal and informal educational settings including daycare centers, summer camps, the library, playgrounds, and more to highlight the interplay between history and community. This work should be a fun and engaging experience for an intern interested in working with people and working in museums or a similar field.

Schedule: 32 hours per week for 13 weeks over summer 2026

Compensation: $15.00 per hour with no additional benefits
