Community “White Christmas” Watch Party

December 18, 2020 @ 6:35 pm - 9:00 pm

“I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas!”

Join the Sheboygan County Historical Museum and the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts for a virtual Community Watch Party of “White Christmas” (1954). Tune in on the Museum’s Facebook page at 6:35pm for a special behind the scenes look at the film, then press play on your DVD, Blue-ray, VHS (don’t lie, we know some of you still have your VHS copy!), or streaming service (“White Christmas” is available on Netflix) at 7pm! Share about your favorite moments and discuss the film with everyone watching from the comfort of their homes in the comment section of the Facebook presentation. Turn on the Christmas lights, make some hot coco, and cuddle up on the couch for a movie that is fun for the whole family!

Watching “White Christmas” is an annual Sheboygan tradition and although sad that we cannot watch it together in-person, we are excited to watch it with you virtually!

White Christmas, 1954

About the Film:

Musical, Holiday Comedy

Singers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly (Dean Jagger), the boys’ commander in World War II, who they learn is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing. So what’s the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that’s sure to put Waverly and his business in the black!
