Step back in time for a day and enjoy the sights and sounds of mid-eighteenth to early nineteenth century Wisconsin at the Plank Road Rendezvous held on the beautiful grounds of Taylor Park and the Sheboygan County Museum!
Join us on October 20–22, 2023 for a fun filled weekend of history and entertainment. The weekend focuses on Wisconsin’s Fur Trade Era, from about 1750 to 1840, and visitors can expect to speak with and observe historical reenactors representing the various inhabitants of the area prior to statehood.
Experience hands-on atlatl and hawk throwing (ages 7+), a camp scavenger hunt, historic hair and makeup demonstrations, and period toys and games!
Admission to the Museum is free the entire weekend so you and your family can not only enjoy the rendezvous outdoors, but also explore the museum and its four historic buildings.
The weekend will culminate in a pancake breakfast on Sunday October 22 from 10am–1pm with proceeds supporting the Sheboygan County Museum.
