First Peoples of Sheboygan County
Full Day Education Program
More than just a field trip, the Museum’s Full Day Education Programs allow students to meet classroom objectives while interacting with artifacts and galleries in an interactive environment. The programs engage student imaginations along with their problem-solving skills through a series of coordinated experiences, including hands-on activities, gallery sessions, and overview exercises.
First Peoples of Sheboygan County explores the history of Sheboygan County’s first inhabitants and how they relied on the environment to provide for needed resources. The program further examines historic turning points, such as the arrival of the fur trade, government treaties, and reservations, that brought changes to the lives of Native Americans
