Historic Jobs of Sheboygan County
Full Day Education Program
More than just a field trip, the Museum’s Full Day Education Programs allow students to meet classroom objectives while interacting with artifacts and galleries in an interactive environment. The programs engage student imaginations along with their problem-solving skills through a series of coordinated experiences, including hands-on activities, gallery sessions, and overview exercises.
Historic Jobs of Sheboygan County explores the historic trades and occupations that were vital to the formation of communities in 19th century Sheboygan County. Students learn about how the jobs worked together, along with understanding how natural resources influenced the jobs available. The program also explores the continuation of many of these jobs to this day.
