Join the Sheboygan County Historical Museum for a kick off event for our newest tour on Vamonde: The 7 Wonders of Sheboygan County!

Saturday, May 22, 2021, anytime 10am – 3pm, go on an adventure throughout Sheboygan County as you discover seven natural and manmade wonders and their rich history! During the kick off event, Museum staff and volunteers will be on hand at each location to provide extra information and fun facts in addition to the content available in the Vamonde app and to stamp your free passport. Once you’ve collected each location’s stamp, you’ll be entered into a prize drawing! This is a FREE event for the community to celebrate our newest virtual tour, and kick off the travel and tourism season!

We have been made aware of an issue with the Android version of the app (ONLY Android. Not IOS). We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is a programming problem on Vamonde’s end. We have reached out to Vamonde and hope to have the problem fixed soon. In the meantime, here is a work around solution. Since the Android app does not have a “Search” bar, instead click on “Destinations”, select “Milwaukee” because we have linked our tours with them as the nearest major city, then select “tourist.” One of the first tour options to appear should be the 7 Wonders tour. If it does not, check to see if your phone’s location is turned on and that will bring up the tours closest to you, which should be ours.

Prizes, Free Gifts and Discounts, Oh My!

Pick up a free “passport” at any of the locations from Museum staff/volunteers and have it stamped as you go through the tour. Once you’ve collected all 7 stamps, submit your passport to be entered into a prize basket drawing!

Thanks to the generous support of Acuity Insurance, the first 50 tour participants to visit the 400 foot Acuity Flagpole – the tallest American Flag in the United States! The Acuity Flagpole is one of the featured wonders on the tour.

Stop for a bite to eat during the kick off event! Tour participants will receive discounts on store/meal purchases (must show Vamonde app to prove participation. Valid 5/22 only) at the following locations:
